On December 13th, the 2024 MIND Supplier Quality Summit with the theme of "Artisanship and Conduct, Achieving Excellence through Quality" was grandly held at the Xingrui Hotel in Baoding. A total of 295 partners from home and abroad gathered for this grand event. They carried out releases and discussions around aspects such as quality planning and summary requirements, sharing of excellent supplier cases, display of the quality red and black lists, release of customer requirements, incentive mechanisms, and outstanding recognition.

Wu Nan, the president of MIND, delivered the opening speech. He said that since MIND participated in market competition in 2018, by 2022, we had gradually formed a market expansion strategy based on the principles of "high-end", "innovation", and "comprehensiveness": focusing on "high-end customers", focusing on "applications of new technologies/new product categories", and focusing on "global operation". Through technological innovation and product quality, we have won the reputation and recognition in the market. Facing the increasingly fierce competition in the global automotive market, "price competition and quality competition" have become inevitable. Going international is both an opportunity and a challenge. We must establish a rational sense of crisis and strengthen our internal capabilities. Only by achieving upgrades in quality and technology can we go further. We look forward to establishing close and pleasant strategic cooperative relationships with our supplier friends and achieving common progress and high-quality development together.

Guan Yong, the vice president of MIND, released the 25-year quality plan. Facing new opportunities, new challenges, and a new journey, he elaborated on four aspects, namely scene globalization, high-end customers, intelligent products, and microscopic defects. Meanwhile, in 2025, MIND's supplier quality management will carry out comprehensive supplier quality management work from the aspects of "legality and compliance, defect prevention, rapid response, and investment in quality".

Wu Lingzheng, the quality director of MIND, released the 2024 quality summary and the 2025 requirements. In terms of the summary, it focused on the display of indicators and the notification of the black list. The 2025 quality requirements were released around two aspects, namely the supplier management model and the quality assurance mechanism. MIND looks forward to creating a new win-win situation of mutual benefit with all supplier friends under a new cooperation posture. In the days to come, we will continue to improve quality and respond to market challenges. We look forward to working hand in hand with all partners to create brilliance.

During the intermission, the quality red and black lists of suppliers were displayed, sharing excellent supplier cases and warning about quality failure cases.

Besides the quality discussions and planning with the supplier side, we were also honored to invite four vehicle manufacturers, namely Great Wall, Spotlight, BMW, and Stellantis, to convey the quality requirements from the customer side to us. We listened attentively to the voices of customers and responded to their expectations with actions. Customer satisfaction has always been our unremitting goal and driving force.

 Xie Hua, the director of the MIND Joint Procurement Committee, released the supplier incentive mechanism and cooperation expectations. We will adhere to the culture of integrity, adhere to the concept of win-win cooperation, and build long-term strategic cooperative partnerships. We hope to have a group of supplier teams that can grow and develop together with MIND, keep up with, be reliable, and be able to win, and work hand in hand to jointly meet new challenges.

Behind every improvement in quality and every breakthrough in technology lies everyone's unremitting support and dedication. MIND invited Zhejiang Sanhua, Shanghai Kunwen, and Osram to share their excellent practices in quality management of their respective enterprises and carried out outstanding recognition for the suppliers with outstanding contributions in 2024.

Zhao Guoqing, the chairman of MIND, delivered the concluding speech. Quality has always been the core competitiveness. Only by relying on excellent product quality can we have a solid foundation when dealing with changes in customer groups, accelerating the process of going global, and withstanding market risks, so as to achieve sustainable business success and development. Market competition is cruel, and we are facing more severe challenges. If we want to go further, we need to consider how to integrate the quality management requirements of high-end customers into our future supplier management process and how our supplier partners can implement these requirements. This will be our topic in the next few years and also the purpose of organizing this meeting. In the future, we will continue to uphold the cooperation principles of fairness, justice, and transparency and establish more long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial strategic cooperative relationships with all suppliers.
